JOB SUMMARY
Oversee all the technical requirement for the shelter rehabilitation and implementation. He/ She will conduct technical door to door assessments for shelter repairs, issue the BOQ, monitor rehabilitation work at shelter level.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Study and evaluate project documents and technical tools from an Architectural/Civil engineering aspect.
• Submit a detailed execution file including detailed drawings, technical specifications and BOQs… in compliance with local and international Good Engineering Practices.
• Elaborate a Quality Control Plan and a detailed workplan for the projects at hand.
• Conduct site visits and supervise implementation of site works.
• Analyze, identify and resolve all the technical and coordination issues for the project in hand.
• Prepare regular reports for all site works executed by the contractors including proper technical evaluation.
• Document field activities and site visits and perform regular inspection to check progress of all projects.
• Update and finalization of the drawings and BOQs as built with detailed technical specifications including all needed technical corrections to fulfil Engineering National Standards.
• Elaborate the compliance sheets including provision of clear technical justifications for inspections findings and observations.
• Set a clear action plan to complete all technical actions / corrections needed and recommendations.
• Coordinate with the project team on various levels.
• Any other tasks related to Architectural/Civil engineering services assigned by Team.
• Follow Caritas Lebanon operational policy, code of conduct and procedures.
• Respect the internal policies and procedures for example: dress code, attendance, discipline, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor degree
•Language skills:English, Arabic and French.
•Computer Literacy:MS-Word / MS-Excel – Intermediate level.
•Related Work Experience:3 to 5 years of experience in related field.
