Capacity Strengthening Officer - Finance

Working as part of a team dedicated to strengthen partner capacity on emergency response, the Finance Project Officer is responsible for developing the financial capacity of local partner organizations and staff and providing the partner staff with the financial management skills (basic accounting, budget management, financial reporting) and follow-up support to confidently serve their organizations and implement their projects effectively and efficiently. Tasks include: input into capacity building curriculum in financial management; delivery of capacity building program based on identified needs; developing training materials and coaching sessions specific to individual partners or all partners as a whole, as relevant; monitoring project activities and impact on a regular basis.  Competencies: CRS employees (1) serve with integrity; (2) model stewardship; (3) develop constructive relationships; (4) promote learning.  Specific Requirements: Lebanese citizenship; Bachelor degree in finance, financial management, economics, accounting or related field; Excellent English and Arabic, including written (French is a plus); 3 to 5 years of NGO experience. Shortlisted candidates are expected to undergo: (1) a written test on January 20th 2017 (From 1:30pm – 4:00pm), (2) if successful, an interview on January 30th, 2017.
