Communication Officer

Contract: National - Lebanon; Reports to: Caritas MONA Regional Coordinator; Supervisory responsibilities: None   Job description summary: The CRS office in Lebanon is currently looking for a Communication Officer (CO) to be seconded to Caritas MONA, the Caritas network’s regional office covering Middle East, North Africa and Horn of Africa. The CO will assist the Caritas MONA Regional Coordinator in gathering information and developing communication material regarding the humanitarian impact of the ongoing Syrian crisis and the emergency response of the Caritas network and other Church partners in Syria and neighboring countries. Specific requirements: Lebanese citizenship; University degree; Excellent English, French and Arabic, including writing; Three years of relevant experience; Immediate availability (maximum one month); Past experience in the NGO field is desirable. Note: Shortlisted candidates are expected to undergo a preliminary written test.
