Head Of Operations

The CRS office in Lebanon is currently looking for a Head of Operations (HoOps) who will provide leadership and coordination to the Finance, Administration, Procurement and Human Resources teams in ensuring compliance with donor and internal policies and procedure, managing risk, increasing efficiency and providing management quality support to partners in Lebanon and other countries of the region. In addition, Head of Operations will be responsible for CRS Lebanon staff safety and security management. As a member of the Country Program’s Senior Management Team, the HoOps will contribute to major strategic decisions and work to ensure appropriate collaboration between the support and programming departments. The HoOps will work closely with the regional and agency-wide Operations community to develop and implement adequate standard processes.  Competencies: The HoOps: (1) promotes stewardship of resources; (2) ensures principled compliance; (3) proactively manages risk; (4) leads operational improvements.  Specific requirements: Lebanese citizenship; Minimum 5 years of past experience, with exposure to the NGO / humanitarian field; Availability to travel abroad up to 30% of the working time; Knowledge of and experience in finance. Shortlisted candidates are expected to undergo: (1) a written test on November 18, 2016; (2) if successful, an interview on November 28, 2016.
