House Manager - Rehabilitation Facility Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and orderliness of all areas within the center, including common areas, resident rooms, kitchens, offices, bathrooms, and outdoor grounds.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning staff, maintenance team, kitchen personnel, and gardening workers.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Report and follow up on repairs, safety hazards, or equipment issues; coordinate maintenance tasks and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain a daily task checklist and ensure all facility-related duties are completed.
  • Develop cleaning and maintenance schedules and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of food supplies and cleaning products; track usage and reorder as needed to ensure adequate stock.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food supplies in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and order in food preparation and dining areas.
  • Participate in staff meetings and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams regarding facility needs.
  • Train and support staff on protocols related to cleanliness, emergency procedures, and resident interaction.
  • Serve as a point of contact during emergencies related to facility operations such as plumbing, electrical, pest control etc…
