Coordinator Of The Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Program

As the coordinator of the rehabilitation program, in a Christian faith based therapeutic community, you will be managing the residential facility and the therapeutic program, multi-disciplinary team and beneficiaries. You will play a central role in translating the values and culture of the organization into an ethical and professional daily practice and in ensuring a secure environment. You will guide the recovering addicts in their path helping them regain their lives back and empowering them for a sustained recovery and integration in their family and society as productive, responsible and drug free citizens. Main Responsibilities Assumes center’s administrative responsibilities, including coordination between center staff, work schedules, recording and reporting systems and maintaining the residential facility.  Supervises the implementation of the rehabilitation program and the daily rehabilitation activities according to center’s rules and schedules. Supervises the development, implementation and evaluation of individual and group treatment plans. Participates in various processes: family follow-up, health care, vocational or educational training, spiritual activities. Might hold counseling sessions, individual or group therapies Translates the values and culture of the organization and looks after secure environment and promotes health. Ensures that the ethical and professional standards of care and practice are met. Undertakes any other tasks in line with this position. Experience  A minimum of five years experience primarily in jobs related to reeducation or rehabilitation institutions, social and health activities, administration or education in NGOs. Expertise in substance abuse rehabilitation, counseling or health care is appreciable. Member of Scout or Christian movement or Red Cross or other is a plus Other requirements & skills Age: 30 and above Languages: Fluent in Arabic and at least one foreign language (English or French) Computer skills: Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point  Personal attributes Committed Christian, honest, transparent, patient and humble Excellent managerial & communication skills, team player, leadership skills, creative and multi-task oriented Strong sense of responsibility, accountability Handles crises and emergency situations and adapts to change. Additional Information   This position requires some weekends and nights duties

BA in Education for special needs, Social Work, Education (with condition to pursue studies), psychology sociology or nursing. Master in social work, Master in “counseling socio-educatif” or equivalent is a plus. Studies/experience in Business Administration or HR Management is important.
