Rehabilitation Program Educator

Job definition As an educator in the drug rehabilitation program you will play a central role in reeducating individuals with drug addiction problems through the stages of recovery, helping them regain their lives back and empowering them for a sustained recovery and integration in their family and society as productive, responsible and drug free citizens. Main Responsibilities Supports the integration of the residents, coaches and reeducates them in their day to day activities and duties according to center’s rules and schedules; points out their needs, transfers them and apply necessary measures. Assists as part of a multidisciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of treatment plans. Monitors the progress of the resident through the therapeutic program ensuring eventual reentry into society. Might hold counseling sessions, individual or group therapies. Assumes administrative and reporting responsibilities and is often assigned as shift superior. Translates the values and culture of the organization and looks after secure environment and promotes health. Ensures that the ethical and professional standards are met. Participates in trainings and research related to CDLL needs. Undertakes any other task in line with this position. Education Preferably a university diploma in Education for special needs, Social Work, General Education, Social Animation, Psychology or Mental Health Nursing. Experience  A minimum of three years experience in jobs related to substance abuse and addiction recovery or treatment, counseling, social work or service, disability or mental health counseling, health care, high school teaching or administration, HR training.  Member of Scout or Christian movement or Red Cross or other is a plus. Additional Information  This position requires some work in weekends and at night Contract: Full-time
