Social Worker

Job definition   Operating within a multidisciplinary team, the social worker will be involved in health, legal, family and socio-educational interventions with the recovering drug addicts and their families along all stages of recovery. The social worker plays a central role in guiding and empowering the individuals for their sustained recovery and integration in their family and society as productive, responsible and drug free citizens. Experience  A minimum of three years experience in jobs related to family counseling, community work, substance abuse and addiction recovery, counseling, social work or service, health care, NGO programs or educational organizations. Member of Scout or Christian movement or Red Cross or other is a plus. Other requirements & skills Age: 25 and above Languages:  Fluent in Arabic, English & French Computer skills:  Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point Personal attributes Committed Christian, honest, transparent, patient and humble Excellent communication skills, team player, creative, multi-task oriented  Strong sense of responsibility and  accountability Handles crises and emergency situations and adapts to change. Additional information This position requires some presence in weekends and/or some evenings
