Social Worker In The Drug Addiction Recovery Program

Job definition   The social worker will be involved in health, legal, family and socio-educational operations with the recovering drug addict and their families along all stages of recovery.  You will play a central role in guiding and empowering the individuals for their sustained recovery and integration in their family and society as productive, responsible and drug free citizens.  Main Responsibilities .          Conducting home visits and asses socio-cultural situation of the family of the beneficiaries. .          Following up resident’s families, clarifying treatment stages and approach .          Following up health care issues. .          Following up the legal matters of the beneficiaries. .          Handling educational, professional, social reintegration actions, including job search, housing and school or college arrangements. .          Assuming administrative and reporting responsibilities.  .          Might hold individual or group sessions .          Translating the values and culture of the organization and looking after secure environment and promoting health. .          Ensuring that the ethical and professional standards of care and practice are met. .          Undertaking any other tasks in line with this position.  Personal attributes .          Committed Christian, honest, transparent, patient and humble .          Excellent communication skills, team player, creative, multi-task oriented .          Computer skills: Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point .          Strong sense of responsibility and  accountability .          Handles crises and emergency situations and adapts to change.  Additional Information   This position requires some presence in weekends
