Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

The American University of Beirut (AUB), hereby solicits your Quotation for a “Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist”, on the project titled “Ghata: Bringing Education to Informal Tented Settlements, funded by Reach Out to Asia (ROTA). The main purpose of the evaluation is to identify good practice, lessons learned and propose recommendations for increased effectiveness and efficiency for future implementation of similar projects.  The evaluator is expected use the standards OECD-DAC covering relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability.  Period of work: 10 days with immediate starting date Qualifications: Advanced Degree in Social Sciences, International Development. Work experience of minimum 5years leading or conducting similar evaluations.   At least 8 years of experience working with programme design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.  Knowledge of / or working experience from Lebanon is an advantage. Experience in developing and applying methodological tools for programme evaluations, notably qualitative and participatory methods. Language: Fluent in English & Arabic with excellent verbal and writing skills.
