Part-time Counselor For Innovative College-Readiness Program Serving Low-Income Lebanese and Refugee Young Adult Students.
Key areas of Responsibility:
Provide individual therapy sessions for beneficiaries
Provide group therapy sessions for beneficiaries, when shared needs are detected and group therapy is deemed appropriate
Work closely with the AUB Faculty Lead in order to provide the necessary psychological services needed for the beneficiaries
Provide documentation - progress notes for each session, treatment plans, and weekly/monthly reports
Prepare and deliver training content for beneficiaries of the program on mental health and psychosocial support topics
Develop best practices and participate in MEL session
Key Characteristics and Qualifications:
A license to practice from the Ministry of Public Health
3-5 years of experience working in a Clinic/Treatment facility/NGO
Clinical experience with refugee communities is preferred
Must have experience writing progress notes, treatment plans, and weekly/monthly reports
Must be motivated, independent, and work well in group settings
Strong ability to work within different cultural environments
