Project Manager

Major Activities

• Initiate the project execution, monitor the work on and ensure respect of all milestones within the quality standards
• Quality control of all implementation activities and receive  weekly progress report from the Field coordinator
• Coordinate with GIZ and Anfeh municipality on all project requirements and changes, if any
• Daily Coordination with the Field coordinator and Field officers
• Oversee and ensure timely projects’ implementation according to donors’ requirements and regulations and the established Detailed Implementation Plan.
• Development of a detailed project Procurement Plan and ensure that procurement of project materials and services are completed in a timely manner.
• Recruitment of the Field Coordinator and the three Field officers
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the team
• Call for staff meetings for the team to share lessons learned, experiences, observations, obstacles and to review and update the projects plans of actions if needed
• Asses with the Field Coordinator and officers the staff capacity and implement appropriate training programs to equip and upgrade knowledge and skills where needed
• Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices
• Manage and coordinate connections with partners, local and international NGOs, local government, and community representatives and stakeholders
• Security management responsibilities:
• Responsible of the day-to-day security management
• Abide by the security procedures and policies and report any breaches
• Participate in personal  safety training as required
• Humanitarian Accountability :
• Be aware of emergency procedures in a response
• Ensure the programs take into account local capacities of local personnel and local community groups, ensure open community participation and consultation
• Support implementation of information provision mechanisms as per the response in Lebanon
• Establish and support implementation of context-appropriate complaints and feedback mechanisms
• Attend and participate in capacity building trainings     locally and internationally if any
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned .
