NFE consultant

This consultancy supports the quality overview of NFE programming for out of school children in Lebanon and covers different sub-components of the Multiple Flexible Pathways workplan with MEHE. 

It requires full time dedication of one person for a period of 12 months (with possible extension if needed) for concrete deliverables detailed in the section below.

• The review of the NFE programs content (CBECE, BLN, ABLN, YBLN and ALP) with CERD and the development of minimum learning outcomes in alignment with the national curriculum and standardized assessments to ensure proper transition to formal education and youth programs.
• The development of standard minimum qualifications for teachers in NFE in alignment with the existing teacher conceptual framework; provision of technical support to design and roll out capacity mapping to sector partners and identification of capacity building needs; development and roll out of a minimum teacher training package (i.e. the materials that introduce the pedagogical approaches to be used in NFE and formative assessments) for NFE sector partners.

The responsibilities under this consultancy are:

• Review of the NFE programs content (CBECE, BLN, ABLN, YBLN and ALP) with CERD for identification of minimum learning outcomes
• Develop standardized assessments in alignment with the learning outcomes of the national curriculum.
• Develop standard minimum qualifications for teachers in NFE.
• Provide technical support to design and roll out capacity mapping to sector partners and identification of capacity building needs.
• Develop and roll out a minimum teacher training package for NFE sector partners.
