CLDH recruits a PROGRAMS MANAGER
Under the supervision of the board, CLDH programs manager:
Finance
- Drafts and reviews on a regular basis CLDH annual provisional budgets
- Manages; monitors and reviews CLDH budget on a monthly basis, explaining any over or under expenditures, and ensures corrective action is taken based on budget, expenditure and forecast.
- Ensures that resources are correctly allocated and spent on a monthly basis in conformity with donors requirements
- Monitors all grants accounting daily implementation in coordination with relevant staff
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the board
- Present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner to the donors
- Clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements to the board
- Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the board.
Fundraising
- Plans and supervises the fundraising and reporting of the organization with relevant staff
- Identifies potential donors
- Elaborates concept notes, projects proposals according to donors’ templates and requirements.
- Proposes timely fundraising strategy in line with the board’s decisions
- Regularly reports to the board regarding fundraising
Activities
- Plans, monitors and evaluates the implementation of CLDH activities and projects
- Assesses the quality of services provided to beneficiaries and establishes regular statistics
- Updates the organization’s action plan and proposes new activities whenever relevant
- Present narrative reports in an accurate and timely manner to the donors
- Write progress reports to the board
Management of staff
- Manages CLDH staff by guiding, coaching, instructing, supervising and monitoring
- Manages employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary and performance or redundancy dismissals
- Prepares terms of reference and contracts for CLDH staff
- Advises the board on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes if any
- Reports to the board on all HR issues.
- Data management and reporting – ensures all staff personal information held in HR is stored accurately and kept up to date and accurate management information reports are produced.
