Job Description:

Speech Therapist 

Employment Type:

Part time (1 or 2 days day per week in the afternoon, or Saturday - Fixed salary)

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Communicate with patients to evaluate and diagnose their levels of speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders.

- Determine the extent of communication problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests

- Identify treatment options.

- Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan.

- Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.

- Work collaboratively with our therapists in other departments to ensure effective communication.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology. (French or English, both languages are needed).
