Accountant and Administrative Assistant (NGO)

Accounting Duties:

  • Record financial
    transactions, prepare financial statements, and assist with budgeting.
  • Manage accounts
    payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
  • Monitor donor
    funds, assist with grant reporting, and ensure compliance with
    regulations.
  • Assist in
    payroll preparation and bank reconciliations.

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide general
    office support, including managing supplies, scheduling, and
    communication.
  • Organize and
    maintain financial and administrative records.
  • Assist with
    event coordination and travel arrangements for staff.
  • Support HR tasks
    and maintain employee records.

Stock Management:

  • Oversee stock
    items designated for donation.
  • Conduct regular
    stock counting and maintain accurate inventory records for donated goods.

 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
    Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or
    administrative support.
  • Technical
    Skills: Proficient in
    accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills: Strong attention to details, organizational
    skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
