This research report represents a concerted effort to understand and address the multifaceted challenges faced by excluded and vulnerable youth across Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, and Romania. By synthesizing insights from extensive desk-based studies, the report provides a nuanced analysis of the socio-economic disparities and systemic barriers that hinder the inclusion of young people in these diverse national contexts. Through a comprehensive review of literature, reports, and policy documents, the research identifies common themes such as educational inequalities, limited employment opportunities, inadequate healthcare access, social marginalization, and governance inefficiencies. These factors significantly 4 impact the ability of excluded youth to participate fully in society, achieve economic independence, and access essential services. The data collection process was designed to uncover effective interventions and best practices implemented within each country to mitigate these challenges. By conducting comparative analyses, the research aimed to extract actionable insights that could inform the development of targeted interventions and policy recommendations. This approach underscores the importance of tailored strategies that account for the unique needs and contexts of each country, while also advocating for systemic changes that promote equitable opportunities for all young people. While the study benefited from a rigorous methodological framework, including data collection and comparative analysis, it acknowledges certain limitations. These include the reliance on secondary data sources, which may not always capture real-time developments or local nuances. Despite these constraints, the findings and recommendations presented in this report aim to catalyze dialogue, inform policy decisions, and inspire collaborative efforts among stakeholders to create more inclusive societies where every young person can thrive.
