The expert/Service provider will be in charge of conducting a pilot local market research which will include but not be limited to:
- Desk research and collection of available studies
- Understand local consumer preferences (taste, size, color, etc.)
- Identify target markets and export opportunities
- Analyze national pricing trends and willingness to pay
- Assess local competitive landscape and supply chain
- Test local marketing strategies (packaging, branding, distribution channels)
- Identify local logistics Challenges
- Outcomes and recommendations
The expert/Service provider will have to organize an info session about cherry and stone fruits market research outcomes for farmers and exporters and will publish the research on CCIAZ AGVISOR app.
Expected Deliverables:
The expert / Service provider is expected to complete the following deliverables within a maximum of 13 working days
• Deliverable 1:
- Develop and submit a detailed market research methodology and work plan for approval by CCIAZ
- Conduct a pilot local market study focused on cherries and stone fruits
• Deliverable 2:
- Prepare a PPT summarizing the key findings and insights from the pilot study
Present the results in an information session targeted for farmers and exporters
- Deliverable 3:
- Prepare and submit a comprehensive final report providing detailed analysis and recommendations
Duration and Timeline
The total duration should not exceed 13 working days from the date of signature of the agreement.
Location of Implementation
The services will be conducted in Lebanon and delivered to CCIA Zahle
Qualifications of the Expert / Service Provider
The applicant (individual or company) must provide and demonstrate the following:
• A university degree in business, agriculture, economics, marketing or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in in conducting market research and studies
- Demonstrated expertise in agricultural value chains, specifically in cherries and stone fruits
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Documents for Submission
Applicants (Companies or Individuals) should submit the following:
• Technical Proposal (description of approach and methodology)
• Financial Offer (in local currency or USD, including all applicable taxes)
• • At least two references or examples of similar previous work
• Signed acceptance of payment terms and conditions

Company Profile and CVs of team members
• Fiscal Certificate of Incorporation at the Ministry of Finance
• VAT Certificate of Registration if applicable

• Fiscal Number
Evaluation Criteria
Evaluation will be based on a yes/no compliance scoring method, with the contract awarded to the lowest priced technically compliant offer, subject to the supplier successfully passing CCIAZ’s vetting and compliance procedures.
