Hiring Industrial WWTP consultant in the Bekaa

The Chamber of Commerce, industry and Agriculture of Zahle and Bekaa is looking for an expert in industrial waste water treatment to support SMEs in installing/upgrading their WWTP.  

• Review wastewater systems’ designs developed by service providers to provide hydraulic and biologic loading analysis, study deficiencies, and assess the need for improvements, amendments and design reviews.
• Develop feasibility analysis of wastewater designs based on wastewater quality analysis.
• Review designs and tender documents for identified wastewater treatment plant execution and on-site wastewater collection and disposal system, and for other immediate needs and/or short-term needs as identified by CCIAZ.
• Provide on-site and desk reviews leading to the selection of eligible industries for the execution of the projects.  
• Provide engineering support and supervision throughout the projects management team at CCIAZ during execution of the selected projects.
• Provide assistance and supervision to trainings to help industries meet the best international standards in conducting operation and maintenance in the wastewater facilities.
• Perform regular site visits before , during and after the implementation of the facilities.
• Work with design teams of engineers, technical staff, and the beneficiary to complete the work orders as assigned.
• Establish design standards for projects, coordinated with associated water project designs to provide an integrated design approach and consistent quality of tender documents across the entire program.
• Coordinate with local officials and the service providers for design review and approvals and implementation.
• Coordinate local design teams and US-based AECOM design teams during design.
• Provide technical support to the CCIAZ teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
