The USAID-funded Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE) Activity, implemented by Chemonics International, aims to develop rural economies in Lebanon through support to the agro-food sector and other industries to unlock local and export sales potential while also creating jobs and increasing farmers' and workers' incomes.
As part of the USAID-Funded ARE activity, Chemonics is soliciting quotations from eligible suppliers who are specialized in the supply of “Dairy Equipment”, to participate in provifing offers for the supply, delivery and installation of dairy factory equipment.
Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers are submitted in accordance with the instructions stated herein. Failure to adhere with the instructions described herein may lead to disqualification of a quotation from consideration.
Offerors should take note that this RFQ does not obligate Chemonics-ARE to execute a subcontract nor does it commit Chemonics to pay for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of any quotations for this solicitation. Furthermore, Chemonics-ARE reserves the right to reject any and all offers, if such action is considered to be in the best interest of Chemonics.

Questions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted no later than 05:00 PM Beirut Local time on November 11, 2022, by email to procurement@lebanonare.org. Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. Questions and requests for clarification—and the responses thereto—that Chemonics believes may be of interest to other offerors will be circulated to all RFQ recipients who have indicated an interest in bidding by November 16, 2022.
All quotations to this RFQ must be received via email by the deadline no later than 5:00 PM Local Beirut time on November 30, 2022, to procurement@lebanonare.org, with “RFQ_ARE_001_11_22” in the email subject line.
Technical and financial offers must be received as two separate documents in the same email.
