Capacity Building Advisor

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks both long and short-term candidates for a two year Municipal Good Governance program in Lebanon funded by USAID. This program will provide technical assistance to select Lebanese government municipalities to allow for better resource management and access to capital assistance. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world and demonstrate leadership, versatility, and integrity in their work. The Capacity Building Advisor will work in conjunction with senior management and short-term experts on designing and delivering training and technical assistance in areas related to local governance and municipal service delivery, including financial management and budgeting, procurement reform, and urban planning processes. Candidates should have a minimum of 5- 7 years of experience in designing and delivering training and capacity building activities, as well as strong knowledge of local governance issues in Lebanon. Fluent Arabic and oral and written English language fluency required.
