Director Of Monitoring, Evaluation And Learning

Chemonics seeks a Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for the anticipated USAID Lebanon Enterprise Development (LED) project. LED aims to increase employment opportunities for Lebanese citizens by facilitating the provision of business development services to help Lebanese firms expand, increase sales, and generate jobs. The project will increase the competitiveness and enhance the growth of Lebanese client firms, improve Lebanon's business enabling environment, and communicate results and program knowledge through outreach with the public and private sectors. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Leading all aspects of Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, Communications and Outreach for the project Ensure that data collection, verification, and reporting are done efficiently and professionally Provide leadership and overall direction to learning efforts, monitoring and evaluation, communication and outreach Foster strong, professional relations with staff from the project, as well as key external partners and stakeholders Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in management, finance, business or other related field conducive to the analysis of firm-level sales and employment data Minimum three years of recent experience (within the last ten years) related to private business, either directly or in a development support capacity Experience in the monitoring and evaluation of development projects Excellent interpersonal, managerial, and written communications skills Excellent English skills. Arabic proficiency preferred Interest in working with a multicultural, international team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
