Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the payment and reconciliation of subcontractor and consultant invoices and expense reports;
- Supervising local employee payroll;
- Oversee the financial management of the project;
- Produce regular and ad-hoc financial reporting statements for USAID;
- Maintain the project’s financial and administrative records;
- Develop and continuously improve financial operations for internal and external customer satisfaction;
- Local procurement of goods and services;
- Compliance with USAID’s and Chemonics’ procurement, hiring and employment practices, reporting and record keeping;
- Operational support of all teams supporting the project;
- Liaison and regular coordination with the home office project management unit; and
- Compiling and reporting local expenses.
