Finance Manager

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks both long and short-term candidates for a two year Municipal Good Governance program in Lebanon funded by USAID. This program will provide technical assistance to select Lebanese government municipalities to allow for better resource management and access to capital assistance. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world and demonstrate leadership, versatility, and integrity in their work. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial and administrative oversight of the project and ensure that financial transactions are compliant with project and USAID policies and procedures. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; 2 years’ experience with accounting procedures and regulations on USAID projects preferred. Previous experience with electronic accounting systems such as Solomon, Deltek, ABACUS, Acc Pac and/or Quickbooks preferred. Fluent Arabic and oral and written English language fluency required.
