CISP is active in South Lebanon implementing projects funded by different Donors and targeting both Syrian Refugees and hosting communities in the Governorates of South Lebanon and Nabatiyeh.
Sectors of activity: Shelter, WASH (including infrastructures for water), and others.
CISP is opening a selection for Enumerators to be employed in the assessment campaign for winterization of tents in Informal Settlements.
As the said assessment should start possibly within the end of July 2019, CISP reserves the right of analyzing applications before deadline of this vacancy announcement, eventually engaging with qualified candidates that meet the requirements, and closing the selection before then.
Excluded candidates meeting the requirements will be enrolled into CISP roster for possible future needs.
Under the coordination of the line manager and monitoring of the Project CoordinatorOfficer, the Enumerator will be responsible for:
- Attending the training sessions for the compilation of the questionnaire set for the purpose;
- Assessment and data collection, by means of a set questionnaire, for the informal settlements of Syrian refugees (field work);
- Enter the data collected into an online database (office work), at the end of each day;
- Correction of possible mistakes once the data entered are verified by CISP Information Management Officer.
The position requires to interact with persons of different background. As such the candidate should be calm and polite while rigorous and precise in doing the job.
Furthermore, the Enumerator must be ready to be flexible, as the work programme might be subject to sudden changes.
Confidentiality: the position gives access to personal information of beneficiaries that must be treated carefully and that cannot be shared or disclosed out of the CISP team.
THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- At least completion of the third year of University courses in disciplines related to Construction;
- average computer skills;
- Willingness and ability to be flexible
- Be rigorous, precise, calm and polite;
Desirable:
- Valid driving license.
- Good knowledge of English language;
- Work experience with international NGOs
Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English
Period: Recruitment is planned to be finalized within end of July 2019 and the contract will cover a period of about 5 weeks (eventually extendable in case of new needs).
