CISP is active in Lebanon where it is implementing projects funded by different Donors. Among them, a project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) aimed at supporting the population affected by the explosions at the port of Beirut of 04/08/2021 in the area of Borj Hammoud.
Sectors of activity: Shelter, WASH (hygiene promotion), economic recovery.
CISP is opening a selection for maximum four Enumerators to be employed, according to needs, in the assessment campaign to identify housing units in need of repairs.
As the assessment is in coordination with the Forward Emergency Room (FER) of the Lebanese Army, that provides lists of cases to assess, CISP is seeking personnel to be employed on call, for the time necessary to assess each list when received.
Under the coordination of the line manager and monitoring of the Project Coordinator, the Enumerator will be responsible for:
- Attending a training session for the compilation of the questionnaires set for the purpose;
- Assessment and data collection, by means of a set questionnaire, for the lists received from FER (field work). The questionnaire is uploaded on tablet that will be assigned to the Enumerator;
- Correction of possible mistakes once the data entered are verified by CISP Information Unit.
The position requires to interact with persons of different background. As such the candidate would be calm and polite while rigorous and precise in doing the job.
Furthermore, the Enumerator must be ready to be flexible, as the work programme might be subject to sudden changes.
Confidentiality: the position give access to personal information of potential beneficiaries that must be treated carefully and that cannot be shared and disclosed out of the CISP team.
The candidate’s requirements:
Essential:
- At least completion of the third year of University courses in disciplines related to Construction;
- Average computer skills;
- Willingness and ability to be flexible
- Rigorousness, precision, calmness and politeness.
Desirable:
- Working experience in similar works with International NGOs
- Good knowledge of English language
- Residence in the area of Borj Hammoud
Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English
Period: Recruitment is planned to be completed by end of August 2021 and the procedure of evaluation foresees a test for the shortlisted candidates. The service contract will cover 30 working days over the duration of the project. The Enumerator will work on calls when campaigns are launched (i.e. upon reception of new lists of referrals from FER).
