Curriculum & M&E Officer

This role is ideal for someone with experience in teaching or curriculum development, a strong interest in STEM education, and the ability to work with educational data. The Curriculum & M&E Officer will play a key role in enhancing learning experiences for students aged 8–15 and contributing to continuous program improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Data analysis or any other relevant field. 
• Minimum 1 years of experience in Teaching STEM or Curriculum Development.
• Creativity and innovation in designing classroom experiences. 
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in at least 1 block-based programming language (e.g. Scratch) and 1 text-based programming language (e.g. Python). 
• Proficiency in Google Suite - Google Workspace (especially Docs, Sheets, and Drive).
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Areas Of Responsibility:

Curriculum Design:

• Develop STEM/coding/robotics learning experiences for students aged 8-15
• Support curricular adaptations as needed (for different contexts, age groups, etc)  
• Organize and file learning resources on shared drive 
• Collect and review feedback from instructors to inform curricular design 
• Conduct site visits to evaluate curriculum implementation

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Support the implementation of M&E frameworks for educational programmes
• Assist in designing and administering surveys, assessments, and feedback tools
• Collect, clean, and organise programme data (attendance, assessments, feedback)
• Help analyse data to track learning outcomes, participation, and programme effectiveness
• Contribute to internal learning reports and donor reports with data and insights

Coordination & Support:

• Coordinate with instructors, programme staff, and partners to gather information
• Support documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and case studies
• Assist with maintaining M&E databases and shared documentation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
