Cohort & Partnerships Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Student Recruitment:

  • Lead student Recruitment Activity & Communication for each cohort (a cohort lasts 6-7 months & holds ~20-25 students)
  • Manage all relationships with Recruitment partners (mainly NGOs); and hold information sessions / open days
  • Engage broader ecosystem in and outside of Recruitment to promote Codi and gain continuous traction & communication
  • Solicit various media channels to promote the programme (e.g. TV / Radio / Local Newspapers (online & print)
  • Share learnings and promote collaboration with other Simplon.co Schools (funnelled through Simplon POC)

Cohort Management:

  • Manage all Life & Leadership Skills trainings (content / delivery formatt & schedule) with our private and corporate partners of the ecosystem (see Content & Delivery Partner Management section below) // incl. English content & delivery partners
  • Personal Growth & Development bi-weekly individual meetings with all students in live cohort; and have overall view on progress and general status of student within broader learning environment
  • Support Codi Programme Director & Lead Trainer on day-to-day managerial activities

 

Content & Delivery Partner Management:

  • Context: Codi works with a variety of partners (corporates / individuals / other) to deliver the programme. As part of this role it is your responsibility to engage and manage those relationships; as well as be responsible for the scheduling of all training sessions delivered by external partners
  • Engage and manage all relationships with content & delivery partners of Codi; and manage the scheduling of all trainings delivered by external partners (content includes all Life & Leadership Skills portfolio; see website for more details)
  • Animate the cohort with inspirational talks from leaders of the ecosystem (e.g. potential employers / former students / entrepreneurs / etc.

Admin & Fundraising:

  • Assist Codi founder & CEO on all fundraising activity (especially on crowdfunding in Lebanon)

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Full fluency in Arabic and English; (French speaker strongly preferred)
  • Strong written & verbal comm. skills / Comfortable & strong at public speaking (incl. Community animation & management)
  • Exceptionally enthusiastic & “can do” attitude / Self-starter state of mind / Hungry to learn new skills
  • Well-organised / Efficient & Effective / Superior analytical skills & strategic thinking
  • Flexible and adaptable to context & audience (e.g. ability to lead recruitment of students in refugee camps along with leading meeting with senior executives of private sector or members of the local Government)
  • Passion for people and overall mission of Codi
  • Ability to participate within a multidisciplinary team and act autonomously as appropriate
  • Proficiency in Google Docs & G Suite Products, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full time employment (5 days / week) starting ASAP
  • Core location for employment will be at Codi HQ, Gemmayze, Beirut
