We are looking for someone who is adaptable and flexible in their approach and able to understand the requirements of each individual student. We want our graduates to leave Codi with the employability skills to survive in a competitive market; including full English proficiency.
Responsibilities (incl. deliverables):
Plan and conduct structured English lessons for 3 groups of various abilities
Align English sessions with the Core programme, ensuring it compliments the necessary skills
Where necessary, assist students on a one-to-one basis with spoken English
Assist students with advice and coaching with any English-medium endeavours e.g. presentations, CVs, cover letters etc.
Maintain and update tracking and progress systems for each student and use this to ascertain key trends and requirements for sessions and necessary curriculum implementations
Provide regular reports to management with regards to students progress
Be creative and interested in new and innovative teaching methods
Profile Requirements:
To be a qualified English teacher or have the necessary qualifications and demonstrated experience in teaching English to a diverse demographic
To be able to foster rapid improvement in students’ spoken and written English capabilities in a relatively short time frame
To prepare students for employment, providing them with the necessary business English skills
What we look for:
Fluency in English (ideally mother tongue)
Enthusiastic, well-organised, efficient, flexible, keen to learn new skills
Ability to participate within a multidisciplinary team and act autonomously as needed
