Programme Coordinator - Beirut

Codi is looking to hire a passionate, proactive, organised, and analytical individual who can join the Central team as a Programme Coordinator to support Codi’s drive to scale. This is a multi-faceted role across key areas of responsibility and will require excellent organisation and communication skills. Codi’s Programme Coordinator will primarily report to Codi’s Director; and the position will be based in Codi’s Beirut HQ (map). 

Responsibilities & Tasks

Student Outreach & Recruitment 

  • Manage streamlined student outreach and recruitment processes for Codi’s programmes (cross location: Beirut / Tripoli / Zahle)
  • Manage all incoming applications and contact with potential students (through phone / e-mail / WhatsApp), including organising events such as information sessions and workshops
  • Coordinate activities (incl. Info session) with pre-selected NGO recruitment partners 
  • Follow up with all student applications for every Codi location (incl. Acceptance / rejection emails) 
  • Participate in applicant interviews (admin & motivation) and prepare student / interview databases 

Admin & Procurement 

  • Ensure Codi external documents (recruitment / fundraising) are up to date on a monthly basis
  • Ensure all key documentation is synced between Codi locations (after each cohort)  
  • Support wider team in ensuring information storage of key documents is aligned to drive structure 
  • Support Codi Central team with key administrative and procurement tasks as needed 
  • Ensure all Central Team processes (incl. student recruitment) are continuously and consistently documented 
  • Support Codi Director and Management to problem solve infrastructure issues for Core students (i.e. sourcing back-up internet cards / paying student transportation) 

Central HR 

  • Support Codi Management in posting Job Descriptions for live roles on key recruitment platforms 
  • Manage first round of pre-filtering candidates for interview on talent pipeline and schedule interviews
  • Manage communication with retained applicants; and onboard new employees with documentation  
  • Manage Codi team calendar in regards to official holidays, team meetings and life-skills workshops 
  • Ensure organisation-wide adoption of official leave request processes and documentation 
  • Track Codi team productivity calendar (incl. days off / sick leave and remote work) 
  • Manage key internal communication to Codi team on relevant platforms 
  • Ensure all personal documentation is collected and stored on drive 

Profile Requirements 

  • Enthusiastic, motivated, multi-tasking, precise, proactive, autonomous, organised and dependable
  • Fast-learner, happy to work independently and good teamplayer with a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft / Google products (especially Excel and Sheets)
  • Strong customer focus; excellent problem solving, time management and analytical skills

Candidate - What we look for  

  • Fluency in English (Arabic & French preferred but not required)
  • Ability to participate within a multidisciplinary team and act autonomously as relevant
  • Analytics and business development experience (preferred)
