TWI-CIN is seeking qualified Psychosocial Support (PSS) Facilitators to lead structured psychosocial support sessions with caregivers. These sessions aim to promote the wellbeing and positive parenting capacity of caregivers, which in turn enhances the resilience of their children.
Facilitators will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and adapting sessions based on provided guidelines and community feedback. The work requires emotional maturity, consistency, and strong facilitation skills in safe and inclusive environments.
Responsibilities:
Planning and Implementation
- Attend all pre-implementation workshops (first two days are mandatory).
- Deliver weekly sessions and conduct feedback-based evaluations.
- Adapt exercises and approaches with technical guidance.
- Ensure safe, accessible locations and accurate documentation (attendance, checklists, etc.).
Facilitation
- Encourage active, respectful participation in group settings.
- Prevent stress or harm during sessions, using gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate methods.
- Apply safeguarding principles and organizational codes of conduct.
Reporting and Referral
- Report medium/high-risk cases to the Child Protection Officer.
- Submit timely session reports and participate in learning reviews.
Other Duties
- Participate in reflection meetings, audits, and events as needed.
- Represent War Child professionally when requested.
- Accept and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- High school education minimum.
- 24 years or older.
- Experience working with caregivers/parents (being a parent is a plus).
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Emotionally mature, empathic, flexible, and team-oriented.
- Community-based candidates from North Lebanon preferred.
- Availability to attend training and deliver consistent sessions.
- Proof of good conduct (if available) and two references required.
