Panel for Rehabilitation of garages and unfinished buildings Work Contracts Concern Worldwide, an International NGO based in Halba, Akkar, Lebanon is seeking to establish a panel of experienced contractors. The type of works to be carried out is basic and simple rehabilitation for occupied garage units and small unfinished buildings. Works include masonry block work, plumbing, installation of windows and doors, and installation of water and sanitation facilities, in the Akkar region. It is expected that a number of these projects will be implemented in the next month; works will be executed in 2 to 3 weeks. It is a pre-requisite for inclusion in this panel, that contractors satisfy the following conditions: 1) Registered Company 2) Taxed Compliant 3) Insurance Cover: All Risks, Public Liability, Employer and Employees Liability 4) Details of Plant/Machinery owned by the Company 5) Management Capacity 6) Labour Capacity 7) List of major contracts and values thereof, implemented in the past five years Concern Worldwide will evaluate the submissions to select a panel of contractors to be invited to bid for future works.
