Tender Notice Ref # CWL/LOGS/040316/TSP01 Date: March 4th 2016 Project Title: Rehabilitation & Extension of an Existing Sewage Network Introduction: CONCERN Worldwide is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to reducing suffering and ending extreme poverty. CONCERN invites Registered Service Providers for expressing their interest in participation for tendering for Rehabilitation and Extension of a Sewage Network Project in Tikrit Village. Construction Project funded by UNICEF for carrying out related works in Tikrit village, Akkar, North Lebanon. Terms & Conditions: Any Company wishing to Tender for this project shall first advise CONCERN of its Expression of Interest, on foot of which CONCERN will issue the Tender Documents to the said Company. The issuing of the said documentation will be in hard copy that can only be collected from Concern’s logs office in Halba. Having received the Tender Documentation, the said Company will advise CONCERN by email, of having received the documentation. It shall do so, within one day of CONCERN having issued the documentation. Time Frames Final date for Expression of Interest, through email is 18th March 2016. Issuance of the tender documentation will start from 21st March 2016 at 8:30 pm until 23rd March 16:30 pm Sealed, signed and stamped envelopes enclosing tender documents should reach Concern Lebanon Office, HDYS Building (Opposite Abdel Karim Rifai Petrol Station) – Halba Akkar on or before 12:00 PM (Beirut Local Time) on Tuesday 29th March, 2016 and should be clearly marked “TENDER - stating the Tender Reference and Project Title” The submission of Tender Documentation shall be contained in two separate envelopes. One contains the Financial Proposal and the other containing the Legal Documentation. . Tenders will be opened on the same day Tuesday 29th March, 2016 at 15:00 PM in the presence of CONCERN’s Purchase Committee. Representatives of the Companies who’ve submitted their Tender who wish to witness the Tender Opening are welcome to attend. Selection Criteria and Contract Award: Selection Criteria for Contract Award are as stated hereunder: 1) Price 40% Tender Price is a critical component in contract award 2) Capacity and Experience 40% The Company shall submit evidence of executing similar projects to a value exceeding $20,000 3) Legal Corporate Status 10% The Company shall provide evidence of its Registered Corporate Status, tax compliance, etc 4) Other 10% CONCERN may observe additional criteria, including but not limited to reputation of the firm and as well as its past history, etc
