Procurement Assistant

Job Summary                     Provide procurement support to the country programme   Duties and Responsibilities   Procurement Obtain quotes from suppliers. Process all appropriately authorised supplies requests, ensuring that goods, services and works are procured to the specifications required, within the required timescales, at a manageable price point, and in line Concern policies. Become familiar with specifications and requirements of requested goods and services and seek confirmation from technical staff as necessary. Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and transportation arrangements and advise relevant staff of the same. Liaise with department managers on a daily basis to keep them up to date with problematic procurements. Any other tasks required by the Logistician.   Other To adhere to the standards of conduct outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and Concern Code of Conduct. To support and promote the standards outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and Concern Code of Conduct to their team, partner organisations and beneficiaries, and be committed to providing a safe working environment. To contribute to the establishment of preventive measures to reduce the potential for abuse in Concern programme (as per P4 section 6). Undertake other appropriate tasks that support the work of Concern in Lebanon as requested.
