Program Development & MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning)
- With the guidance of the Protection Project Manager, participate in program development phase in accordance with the protection strategy including but not limited to community-based protection, awareness raising and outreach activities, life-skill trainings, PSS (Psycho-social Support) activities, youth, children and women focused protection activities, community-based protection and social project.
- Support the Protection Project Manager, in preparing and implementing M&E tools and data collection methods based on the results of the programme based on the framework, donor requirements and reporting needs, which contributes to continual learning and program quality;
Staff Capacity Building
- Produce training materials to improve protection sessions on an ongoing basis, as is required in the programme.
- Conduct staff training and mentoring for new and existing staff & volunteers as requested.
- Support in assessing, training, and mentoring local partners, as relevant, to strengthen local capacity and sustainability.
Program Implementation
- Implement PSS activities and life skills training for children, youth (boys and girls), women and men;
- Support in the design and implement leadership workshops for various stakeholders
- Implement community-based protection/social projects;
- Undertake case management when requested.
- Ensure that referral pathways are functionally based on the norms of ethics and confidentiality.
- Ensure that CRM (Complaints & Response Mechanism) is rolled out and functional;
Reporting, Admin, and Information Gathering
- Collect, store and analyze data of his/her activities;
- Provide necessary data and information to Protection Team Leader for reporting.
- Support the project manager in compiling monitoring and donor reports
- Support in the compilation of logistics and finance tracking documentation to ensure financial management of the programme.
Representation and Coordination
- Replace the Protection Project Manager whenever necessary in Working Group and Task Force meetings.
Work Ethic
- Adhere to the standards of conduct outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and Concern’s Code of Conduct;
- Support the promotion of the standards outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and Concern Code of Conduct to the team and the beneficiaries, and be committed to providing a safe working environment;

- Any other task required by the program.

Person specification:
Essential
- Degree in the social sciences: Psychology, Social Work, etc.
- Knowledge of protection principles in humanitarian aid;
- Knowledge of concepts of SGBV and CP;
- 2 years of experience in the protection sector;
- Excellent communication skills, including training and facilitation;
- Good team player;
- Excellent information technology skills;
- Diplomacy, assertiveness, and cultural sensitiveness;
- Fluency in English and Arabic written and oral.
- Flexibility in working overtime when needed and ability to handle pressure well
Desirable
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Good computer skills particularly Microsoft office packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
