The international community must act urgently to end the conflict which is driving the world’s largest humanitarian crisis in Sudan, and provide the funding needed to respond to the escalating humanitarian needs.
Irish humanitarian organisation Concern Worldwide is using €142,000 collected from the public in Ireland and the UK over the last few weeks to provide 26,100 hot meals to people living in temporary emergency shelters in the Lebanese capital.
Concern Worldwide has warned that temperatures can drop to below freezing in the winter months in north Lebanon where some of the over 1.2 million displaced people have fled.
