Description of the items and requirements

1.1 Items Required

COOPI requires the provision of one up to four vehicles for a period of at least 12 months—comprising a combination of cars and SUVs—depending on operational needs across different locations in Lebanon.

Suppliers are requested to submit separate quotations for both vehicle types (car and SUV), as the final selection will depend on logistical and field requirements.

The cars should be 1.6 cc (1600 CC)  to 2.0 cc(2000 CC) with adequate power and durability to operate effectively in challenging winter and mountainous conditions.

1.2 Vehicle Allocation Flexibility

COOPI reserves the right to relocate any of the provided vehicles between operational areas, based on its logistical requirements and the geographical distances involved.

1.3 Vehicle Specifications and Minimum Requirements

All vehicles provided must meet the following conditions and be fully operational:

• Vehicles must be in good mechanical condition, having successfully passed a maintenance check within the last three (3) months.
• For safety and functionality, each vehicle must be equipped with:
  • Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
  • Seatbelts for all passengers
  • Functional air conditioning and heating systems (AC/Heater)
  • One spare tire
  • A standard toolbox
  • A complete first aid kit
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Accident warning triangle or signaling device
  • Tire chains suitable for winter conditions.
  • Rear camera (optional)
• The manufacture year of each vehicle must be 2022 or later.
• Insurance: All vehicles must carry valid full insurance coverage, including any mandatory national insurance requirements.

1.4 Supplier Responsibilities During the Contract Period

• The vehicles must be capable of traveling throughout Lebanese territory, including access to remote or difficult-to-reach project areas.
• Continuity of Service: In the event of a mechanical issue or breakdown, the supplier must provide a replacement vehicle immediately to avoid any disruption to COOPI operations.
