Position: Education Specialist (Tripoli)

Location: Tripoli, Lebanon

Duration: 16 months

Reporting to: Project Manager

Salary: 1600$ (D4).

Overview:
The Education Specialist will provide technical support for educational activities, including teacher training and curriculum development, with a focus on enhancing educational quality and inclusivity for vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and coordination of teacher training programs, focusing on classroom management, inclusive education, and protection strategies.
• Develop and oversee educational activities that support retention, homework assistance, and digital literacy for vulnerable children.
• Engage with educational authorities, school administrators, and teachers to build effective partnerships and secure their commitment to project goals.
• Monitor the quality and impact of educational activities through regular assessments, adapting approaches as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance to school staff, ensuring adherence to inclusive and protective educational practices.
• Prepare regular progress reports and updates, analyzing activity impact and identifying areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with other team members and partners to align educational activities with broader project objectives.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager to support the effective implementation of the project’s educational components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field.
• At least 5 years in educational program implementation, especially in crisis settings.
• Strong communication, organizational, and partnership-building skills.
• Valid driving license and ability to drive.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of the Lebanese educational context and issues facing vulnerable communities.
