COOPI Lebanon is recruiting a Logistician based in both Kfaraabida and Tripoli to be involved in the implementation of WASH projects for Syrian Refugees and Affected Populations in North Lebanon. Main areas of responsibility:   Main tasks Support the staff in all logistic aspects of the projects’ implementation; Promptly inform the Project Manager about problems and contribute to their solution, for the safety of all staff members; Supervise logistic aspects of COOPI offices and guesthouses; Daily and upon request check the maintenance conditions of each car, including cleaning, oil level, water, fuel, tyres, tools; Control the logbooks for each car and at the end of each month prepare the Fuel Tracking sheet; Prepare and update the monthly inventory of all COOPI goods in Lebanon; Manage the stationary; When needed, support the staff in driving COOPI cars; Periodically assess the market in order to find new potential suppliers (best price/quality) on the local market; If required, support the staff by sharing information, ideas, technical advices and skills for the drafting of new proposals. Be flexible and ready to respond to the Project’s needs in terms of time and Services. When required by the international staff, carry out any other activity/Service in accordance with his/her physical and intellectual aptitudes.   The Head of Mission and Project Manager will define and explain to Logistician other specific activity necessary to assure an effective project implementation.   Qualifications   Previous working experience in an international NGO (required) Degree in Logistics or any related field (desirable) Computer knowledge (word, excel, …) Knowledge of the market prices and main suppliers in at least the Northern area of Lebanon Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to work in an international environment Ability to adapt or change priorities according to the changing situation within a mission or the organisation itself; Well organized; Hard worker; Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic,  Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work flexible hours in the event of major emergencies Valid Driving License and ability to drive both automatic/manual cars Good Knowledge of Northern Lebanon

The CV must include at least three professional references. The selection process will begin as soon as possible after the closing date. Selected candidates will be invited to an interview at COOPI office in Kfaraabida. The commencement date will be immediately after selection. The duty station is mainly in Tripoli, North Lebanon and the foreseen duration of the contract is two months, with 2 weeks trial period, for a starting date as soon as the recruitment is completed.
