Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for:

• Provides financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts.
• Preparing reports.
• Reconciles general and suppliers accounts by gathering and balancing information.
• Verifying the accuracy of monthly project cashbooks and bank statements.
• Reconciling and monitoring cash and bank accounts balances.
• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the timely & correct posting of invoices onto the system.
• Handles data entry and filling on daily basis.
• Follows up on payments not yet due.
• Facilitating the compiling of audit-ready project financial reports by classifying and accurately filing all relevant documents.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

1. Degree in Finance, Business Administration or CPA qualifications;
2. Professional working experience as Accountant
3. Excellent knowledge of double-entry accounting
4. Computer literate with knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
5. Knowledge of accounting software
6. Problem solving and organizational capabilities
7. Good knowledge of English
