Field Officer Coordinator

The Field Officer Coordinator plays a key role in project activity implementation. Under the supervision of the training coordinator, the Field Officer Coordinator will manage remotely the work of field team, follow up with them and ensuring that they adhere to project methodology.   The overall Responsibilities: Support  project team in undertaking needs assessments, namely going through and the needs to be addressed in terms of performance and effectiveness; Ensuring the implementation throughout the whole project activities in compliance with political recommendations from project team and the technical suggestions from the external actors and the consultants; Responsible of the Small Scale Projects (SSP’s) conception and implementation ensuring that M&E reporting from the field  are aligned with COSV M&E methodology; Participate to the design, preparation and monitor the trainings held by a pool of experts; In charge of the collection and of the compliance check of all invoices, receipts and official documents related to the financial movements within the framework of the project. Provide day-to-day support and mentoring to field team (form management perspective) and provide recommendation and feedbacks regarding their performance to the project team. Assist with the  project team  in collecting data from the field and participate in writing  the  projects’ official reports writing   Experience required: A bachelor degree in project management, development or social studies or any other related field. Experience in remote management preferable with NGO background Experience in organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills Ability to plan and prioritize own workload Experience in monitoring and reporting skills Ability to work under pressure Cultural sensitivity and adaptability Previous experience working with Syrian civil society and in similar projects is a most Computers: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic
