M&e Officer

Under the responsibility of the Project Manager and in collaboration with the Project Manager Assistant, the M&E Officer is in charge of the overall supervision of the monitoring methodologies, the development of suitable tools and techniques for the management of the whole monitoring activities, check list of beneficiaries and procurement and negotiating procedures related to the Food Security and Livelihoods project. Minimum requirements -            At least two years of professional experience with international NGOs or other international agencies, -            At least two years of professional experience with relevant responsibilities in M&E field, -            Previous experience in remote project management, -            Fluency in Arabic and a good level of English. Job Description Management of the monitoring and evaluation procedures - In coordination with the staff and the local partner, planning the monitoring and evaluation phases of the project, - Set up and implement monitoring and evaluation methodologies and procedures able to guarantee the overall quality and coherence of project’s activities, - Set up, develop and implement simple and complete tools and techniques devoted to enhancing the monitoring component of the project, - Supervise the systematic collection of data, analysis the progress of the activities and monitor the results in terms of timeliness, quality and accuracy in line with the approaches of the logical framework; - Provide technical support for planning and monitoring the ongoing activities to the staff and partner on the ground; - Prepare internal reports for the smooth and timing implementation of project activities; - Develop and manage the monitoring and evaluation information system and relay the information to the project stakeholders; - Measure and evaluate the project indicators; - Guarantee and collect reports from the partner and staff on the ground; - Produce evaluations and analyses related to the implementation of the different phases of the project; - Produce monthly monitoring reports and any recommendations.
