Project Manager

. Project management -Designing need assessment, action plans, project implementation strategies and frameworks -Designing relevant field tools and methodologies -Guide the day-to-day implementation of the project with focus on quality outcomes -Manage project budgets, procurements and yearly financial plan -Supervise and collect periodically the financial documents from the local partner and assure their eligibility and compliance with Donor’s procedure. 2. Project Reporting -Set up a clear timeline of reports to be submitted to internal counterparts in line with donor reporting requirements -Prepare meeting minutes of all projects -Draft narrative reports and development of financial reports through regular budgetary follow up -Collect information needed and communicate effectively with the database department -Document lessons learned and best practices during the project. 3. Communications and information flow among field, partners and team -Coordinate with HQ the communication strategy on project progress and planning; -Consult with external partners that are engaged in complementary activities to enhance coordination and partnership among stakeholders; -Supervise project assistant and the field team in the communication with the partners Qualifications and experience • Master Degree in Project Management/Economics/Conflict management or other related fields • At least 4 years of relevant experience as Project Manager is required • Previous experience in Middle East is required. Previous experience in remote project management and/or sub-granting is an asset; • Previous experience with the EU is highly preferable • Experience in community mobilisation and capacity building • Experience in coordinating various stakeholders (local and international) in complex partnerships • Arab candidate speaking with outstanding field knowledge of the region in particular Syrian context, outreach and previous professional experience on the ground Fluency in English – (both written and spoken) • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint essential • Ability to work in a team but also comfortable working autonomously and independently with minimum supervision • Excellent communication and management skills • Proven strategic capacity in analyzing complex environments, assessing risks and needs from a variety of sources;
