Social Media Management
- Develop and maintain a weekly editorial calendar and content schedule for Facebook and Instagram.
- Create engaging text, image, and short video content in Arabic and English.
- Produce visual content using Canva and ensure brand consistency.
- Publish and schedule content across social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community inquiries.
- Liaise with the Director of Communications, and project managers to stay informed about new activities, projects, and events.
- Provide live or post-event social media photo and video coverage for REEF activities and events.
- Monitor social media performance and analytics and prepare quarterly performance reports for the Director of Communications and program managers.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Set up and manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns when required.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity, branding and donor requirements.
Website Content Management
- Update, write, edit, and publish content (text, images, and videos) in Arabic and English.
- Maintain the website editorial calendar and ensure timely publication of content.
- Create and update pages for new projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate with designers and developers, under the guidance of the Director of Communications, when website modifications or new pages are required.
- Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and accessibility standards.
- Monitor website analytics and prepare quarterly performance reports.
- Recommend improvements to website content, structure, and user experience.
- Stay informed about web content management trends and best practices.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity, branding and donor requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management and website content management.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic and English.
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, and social media analytics.
- Experience using WordPress for website management.
- Proficiency in Canva and basic content creation tools.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and web content best practices.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and produce reports.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Experience in maintaining brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Contract Type and Duration
Type of Contract: Service Agreement
Duration: 6 months, renewable subject to satisfactory performance, organizational needs, and availability of funding.
Contract Period: From 20 June 2026 to 20 December 2026.
Deliverables
- Maintain and implement weekly social media and website content plans.
- Publish & update content regularly on REEF’s social media & website in Arabic and English.
- Ensure timely coverage of projects, activities, and events.
- Submit quarterly social media and website analytics reports, including recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain consistency with REEF's branding and communication guidelines as well as donor’s requirements across all digital platforms.
Working Arrangements
Remote / Hybrid. Participation in selected events and activities may be required to ensure communication and social media coverage.
