BACKGROUND
The Lebanon Industry Value Chain Development (LIVCD) is a six-year and four months program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented under the leadership of DAI Global LLC (DAI). The LIVCD project aims to increase the competitiveness of selected value chains, expand the number of Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises that can compete in selected markets, improve linkages between those firms and other actors throughout the value chain, increase the gross value of products and services in local and export markets, and expand exports. The project will end in January 2019.
OBJECTIVES
Ensure compliance with DAI’s HR policies and Lebanon’s labor law.
In collaboration with LIVCD’s management and Technical Team, assist in the development of staffing and recruitment to ensure that each team is appropriately staffed, according to need and budget, in an efficient and timely manner.
Ensure the consistent implementation of HR polices in all LIVCD offices.
Ensure proper management of project assets.
Assist closely in the project closeout.
Job Requirements and Skills
Minimum of Bachelor degree in social sciences or related field. HR diploma preferred. .
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
MS Office Proficiency; Excel, Word, Power Point.
Fluent in English and Arabic
Minimum 5 years of senior HR experience including USAID experience.
Strong knowledge in Lebanese labor laws and USAID regulations as they relate to HR.
Excellent people skills and a team builder.
Supervision
The HR Manager will report to the Deputy Chief of Party.
