Damma Women’s Association

About

Damma Women’s Association is a women- and refugee-led organization based in Lebanon. Founded by female activists, it works to ensure women’s genuine participation in political and social life as a foundation for peace and justice.

Since 2016, Damma has provided education and psychosocial support (PSS) to vulnerable women and children, while also empowering women through political and economic initiatives, awareness programs, and livelihood projects. The organization is committed to supporting those most affected by the Syrian conflict, helping them build dignified lives in exile or upon return, and fostering a new generation of women leaders for justice, equity, and peace.
