In 2020, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) partnered with three civil society organizations in the North of Lebanon: Al Midan, Al Ribat and Leb Relief, to build their capacities on Empowering civil society actors to strengthen the protective environment for girls and boys through sustainable and integrated child protection interventions. The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) proposed a 12-month child protection (CP) intervention in the most vulnerable areas of North Lebanon and Bekaa governorates, encompassing a package of CP prevention and response services, with the parallel aim of strengthening localization, inclusion and multi-sectoral integration. Building upon its long-standing presence in the North of Lebanon and the Bekaa, DRC will seek to respond to the prevailing CP concerns that continue to undermine the rights and wellbeing of Syrian and other refugee as well as Lebanese host community, to ensure effective project delivery, different implementation modalities are proposed in each of the targeted areas. The proposed project will expand upon DRC’s successful partnership with three civil society organizations (CSO) in the North, in which DRC comprehensively built their technical and organizational capacities in partnership with UNICEF to initiate and sustain specialized CP programming.

• DRC will contract a hotel/venue to accommodate and conduct a training for local actors, and provide accommodations for all participants.

The training will start each day at 8:30 AM and finishes at 5:30 PM (breaks included)
