Admin / Hr Officer - Tripoli

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated candidate to supervise general administration and HR of the office in Tripoli – Lebanon   Who are we? DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job Duties To proactively identify broader issues of Admin weakness/non-compliance to DRC policies and   guidelines and report them to Head of Admin Supervising general administration of the Office in Tripoli Keep soft and hard records of all Admin contracts (rent, services...)and employees files. Ensure all Administration files are complete, correct and have the relevant signatures Follow up on staff leave and vacations, and report monthly about leave balances To follow up on the related issue to DRC guesthouse in Tripoli Carrying out any other duties relevant to the nature of the job as requested by the Head of Admin or the country Director   About you To be successful in this role you must have Bachelor degree in Business administration or any similar field of education with a minimum 2 years experience in similar field of work.  Ideally you will also have a HR diploma/certification and experience in NGO. We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant contract until end of December 2014, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from September 2014 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level C1, equivalent to to basic salary of $ 1505 per month in addition to transportation and communication allowances.
