For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobThe Human Resources Area Manager is responsible of all HR related tasks in the North offices to ensure that implementation of HR procedures and policies are performed in a timely and accurate manner.This includes providing technical support and increasing the capacity of the existing HR team. This position reports to the Area Operations Manager. Duties• Manage and capacity build the HR team in the North• Ensure compliance with DRC’s rules &regulations and Lebanese Labor law • Explain to DRC staff any inquiry related to the employee handbook and roll out any new changes d in the latter• Responsible of monthly Payroll data and calculations in the North• Follow up on staff leaves and vacations, and report monthly about leave balances• Maintain and update HR filing system as per DRC guidelines and ensure all personnel files are complete, correct and have the relevant documents with the Finance and Admin.• Responsible of the recruitment process of National staff in DRC Tripoli and Akkar, in coordination with other departments and HR Beirut• Ensurethat data of newly recruited staff is properly recorded on staff list and HR software; Personnel information such as marital status, position, salary, leaves.• Coordinate with HR Beirut for a proper implementing of the performance appraisal procedure• Responsible for organizing and setting up training and workshops• Coordinate the registration of all employees with NSSF in coordination with Beirut HR• Responsible for entry and exit procedures for all staff • Manage Akkar and Tripoli employees’ relation• Prepare warnings in coordination with HR Beirut• Liaising with HR Beirut concerning Insurance related matters• Advising the AOM on the organizational chart of Akkar and Tripoli office versus the employees allocations• Performing randomly and in coordination with HR Beirut office an HR self-check About youTo be successful in this role you must have:Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.Experience in managing HR in emergency environment including recruitment and management of staff.Other qualification:a) Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabicb) Commitment to and understanding of DRC’s aims, values and principlesc) Very good Knowledge of Lebanese Labor Law d) Experience in managing payrollse) Good computer skills (Word, Excel);f) Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience. You must be willing and able to work in Northern Lebanon from mid-January 2016.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
