Capacity Building Assistant (Monitoring Evaluation and Learning) – Tripoli Lebanon
We are looking for a highly qualified To recruit a capacity building assistant to work closely with the whole monitoring and evaluation and learning team in North Lebanon.
Who are we?DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. To establish a strong collaboration with DRC implementing partners, gather and provide necessary information for regular reporting for identification of gaps in the implementation of DRC projects and to prepare regular training and capacity building sessions for the aim of improving the overall execution of the project
DutiesGeneral Responsibilities
•Assist in undertaking assessments for project start-up and projects handover to local implementing partners.•Ensure close collaboration between DRC M&E team and DRC implementing partners •Participate in organizing training needed for the capacity building of the implementing partner.•Support in designing training modules in monitoring and evaluation, information management and reporting.•Support the design of the training and capacity development activities for the implementing •Support preparation of the Terms of Reference for the recruitment of needed additional capacity to support implementation of the capacity development plan.•Organize and implement training activities and events for the operations/ projects staff of implementing partner.•Maintain effective partnership with Government Institutions, implementing partners and donors colleagues to exchange critical and technical information and resolve programme/project implementation issues to ensure results are achieved as planned;
About youTo be successful in this role you must have national Diploma in Social Work, Law, or International Business Management, very good English language level, Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in working with International NGO. Minimum 1 year of experience in working in similar positions, including coaching or training and experience of working in the geographical area
Ideally you will also have Master’s degree in social science or political science or law in addition, a good team working skills and coordination and institutional level.
We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from mid January and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to 1,204$ per month.
